The Grandfather Part 2 Dissected « Watch Gossip Girl Online

Oooh a lot of things went down on The Grandfather, including Blair’s face on Tripp’s cake! That means we have a lot of things to discuss, so let’s best begin!

Ok, first I have to get it out of the way, Olivia and Dan’s issue was painfully cheesy and blah. I mean, what was the big deal about bathroom boy? Grow up guys, that was truly lame! Also, I’m not really a pro at how guestings work but will Jimmy Fallon really put the same celebrity 2 nights in a row? Somehow, that bit with Olivia and the cake was not realistic at all, not to mention extremely corny! I don’t know about you but this Dan and Olivia pairing isn’t really doing it for me! I wish the writers could spice up that relationship!

Next, we have to talk about Serena and Blair and their deteriorating friendship. Although it has to be said that both girls were acting really immature, Serena takes the cake when she pushed Blair’s face on the cake (Yes, pun really intended!). Blair had every right to get mad at her, and yes, every right to say what she did because it was true. Serena’s douche of a fake boyfriend was unbelievably lame and embarassing, just take that peeing on the plants scene! Bravo to Chuck though for talking some sense into Serena, despite it having no good effect in the end. For now, Blair and Serena’s friendship is kaput and Blair seems determined this time. I wonder how long this feud will last.

It’s good to see Nate back in the swing of things, Gossip-girl wise. What he did was pretty admirable. Family should always come first, and he illustrated that beautifully. Tripp turned out to be a pretty decent guy too! Poor Grandfather, taking the fall for the evil granddaughter-in-law! He shouldv’e had enough foresight to smell a rat in the ranks! We have a feeling this girl is going to stay around and stir up even more trouble!

We can’t let this review pass by without expressing our displeasure and distaste for Vanessa. Nate was totally right. Can Vanessa please stop acting like a hypocrite?! When will she get what’s coming to her? It’s not fair that people who seem to cross her a.k.a Blair and now Nate, seem to be getting the short end of the stick while she walks away, scott free! We demand justice! Let’s just hope the GG writers are listening!
